A 147 cone Jordan series drogue. 

The rig includes 5 meter long dyneema bridles with soft connects to the drogue. It has hard eyes/thimbles to connect bridle to plates with shackles. It comes with 2 big shackles to attach to plates on the hull. It comes with a deployment bag that secures to the aft or side deck and rolls out when you need it.  

It has 147 cones and is specd for an 40,000 lb displacement monohull. The cones are the new design with all edges seamed so they don't fray when deployed. Rope is all high quality dyneema and ends all have spliced stainless steel thimbles to prevent chaffe. 

It does not include the chain plates or the 17-18kg weight for the end. You can get the plates made at local metal shop (I can give you the specs for mine if you want, but I'm not taking those off the boat). You can make weight out of whatever you want (dive lead, hardware, etc).  

Bought new directly from Ocean Brake in the UK in summer 2023. It has never been used and is in perfect condition. The price reflects the fact that the drogue is like new, unused, and in perfect condition.  I know it's weird to buy safety equipment "used" but when you see the drogue you'll know that it's pristine and ready to hopefully never be used by you either :) 

The drogue was on a Kelly Peterson 44, and we were in between sizes so we sized up to have more cones (someone once told me that you don't want to get out there and wish you'd spent a bit more money on some key piece of kit). We left BC in August 2023 and sailed down to Mexico, out to Hawaii, and home to BC. We won't be doing any more bluewater miles so the drogue needs a new home and a new adventure.
