1980 35' Niagara for sale 0 E. Gregory Hi There, Indra II, a 35' Hinterhoeller Niagara Classic 35 Bermudian sloop is for sale.  With the bowsprit and dinghy davit the overall length of Indra is 39'. Basic information for Niagara 35s below..... http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?CLASS_ID=1901 Indra II is painted in a dark green colour with wide white sheer and waterline trim. Dodger is in good shape. Mostly teak interior with a well thought out flow and decent headroom. This boat has many upgrades through the years including a diesel Yanmar 3GM-30FC saildrive engine mated to an autostream folding prop. Currently with 600 hours on the engine. A SAILOMAT 601 self steering system was installed in 2001. Engine maintenance recently performed by Ahoyhoy in March 2017. Sea water strainer was made more accessible and filters, belts, hoses, mixing elbow and fuel feed pump replaced. The injectors were removed cleaned, reinstalled.  Compression checked: 435,400,435. Boat hauled out May 2017 by Skookum. Bottom cleaned, through hulls and drains changed, Zincs/anode replaced, transmission cable replaced. Updated Quantum sail (year 2000) with Challenge cloth and fibreglass battens, recently professionally cleaned.  New forest green mainsail cover to match the green hull. Jib sail cleaned and reinstalled on a new Bamar roller furling (New forestay, GFM C2 drum, BMG40R (C2) foil, BMG 40R middle foil) There is also a Dobson (1998) 135 % Genoa and other sails. (I likely have all sails from new) 2-12 volt batteries and 2- 6 volt Kart batteries. charging system, Xantrex alternator regulator, Q-Sine 600 inverter,  Shore power hook up and solar panel installed over cockpit for charging when away. Raymarine A65 and RS12 Chartplotter and GPS, ST4000 Wheel and Tiller autopilot. Horizon digital depth sounder. JRC Radar 1500 with reflector, ICOM VHF radio at map station and portable unit. Epirb unit for peace of mind. There is a Hillerange propane three burner/oven, SigMar diesel cabin heater, Paloma propane instant hot water system, large refrigerator built into the counter and two large freshwater storage tanks.  Porta-potti toilet. I have the original pump toilet if you'd like to make one of the freshwater tanks a pump out. I suggest a composting toilet. The bow cabin is cozy and provides access to the chain locker, sail lockers, storage, stereo and a seating area with a large pull out writing/reading /map desk. 4 speakers in the cabin are in rough shape, 2 in cockpit are adequate. Shore power hook up and solar panel installed over cockpit for charging when away. There are two aft sleeping berths on both side of the cockpit, one meant to be a double. Two more berths comprising the central seating area, one side pulling out into a double allowing the boat to sleep a total of 6 people. 4 step removable ladder, dinghy davit, propane BBQ. Last survey done in 2015. Extra parts, extensive records, documentation and receipts. To bring it up to snuff, some of the hatch seals between the plexi and extruded frames will need some attention when the weather is warmer, and one of the Lewmar winches needs to be serviced/greased. Otherwise the boat is functional and all basic maintenance is done. This is not a project heavy boat but needs someone with more time and energy to bring it back to lovely. I can show the boat on weekends and possibly late afternoon/early evening. Thank You

Hans Christian 38 rebuilt to factory specs - stunning! $189,000 0 A. Roberts This outstanding vessel is truly offshore ready.  Many are advertised as “offshore ready”, but Mayaluga is truly offshore-turnkey.  Provision her, step aboard and go!  Rebuilt from the ground up, the recent professional survey states: ……. in many respects this a new vessel, and superior to the factory original. Hans Christian’s are legendary offshore vessels, heavily constructed with hand-laid GRP and tons of teak everywhere.  This quality of construction is no longer economically viable.  These vessels perform well and provide an extremely comfortable Rolls-Royce-ride in any weather. The Burmese teak interior is from a bygone era with 11,000 man-hours invested in the joiner-work alone.  When you approach one of these beautiful vessels with her springy shear, your heart will truly beat faster! Mayaluga underwent a very thorough $210,000 full refit before going offshore in 2016 and is truly a stunning vessel.  While away, she was regularly maintained, constantly upgraded and improved by knowledgeable and fastidious owners. She is currently enjoying another 20,000 cosmetic refit. The Bluewater Cruising Association chose Mayaluga as their offshore-ready show-boat for the Vancouver Boat Show in January 2018.  This classic vessel is infrastructurally sound and cosmetically stunning. Most equipment is latest generation and less than 3 years old.  The recent professional survey puts Mayaluga’s market value at $250,000. Recent significant upgrades and renewals include teak decks and coring removed, new synthetic coring and fiberglass non-slip professionally applied, new chain-plates, new standing and running rigging, custom reefing system for mainsail, and rebuilt mast and boom. Rebuilt engine, engine room sound insulation, new 12v distribution panel and wiring, all LED lighting, 7 x AGM series 27 batteries, 500 watt solar with 3 MPPT controllers, custom hard-dodger and bimini, new stanchions lengthened to hip-height, stainless 1’’ safety rails all round with secure gates, new 6 man BDC offshore life-raft, 9’ parachute anchor with 250’ rode, new high-end EPIRB and the new Raymarine E7D navigation suite includes chart-plotter, radar, sounder/fishfinder and TillerPilot.  New Icom 802 SSB (Single Side Band radio) with Pactor modem IV, automatic 140 antenna tuner, KISS cable ground-plate system and a dedicated SSB antenna with an additional emergency 27’ whip. New Icom AIS full transceiver (transmit and receive) unit, new Spectra 150 gallon per day water-maker, New FrigoBoat F50 freezer/fridge unit with through-hull cooler unit. Some vessels are advertised as “offshore ready”.  Mayaluga however, is really and truly offshore ready.  She is fully serviced and literally ready to go again – just load your gear, provision her, step aboard and sail-away”.  Due to many recent offshore modifications Mayaluga is now in far better condition that when she left Victoria in 2016. She is raring to go adventuring again!   Full details and photos www.ab4d.mobi

Advice on Noon Ocean / True North 34? 1 D. Bryant We have a Tradewind 34, which is the same Stan Huntingford design. Ours was built to a very high standard from 1976 to 1980. We have sailed this boat for over 15 years, in the Pacific NW and world wide. She is a very hardy and sea kindly boat. You can follow her adventures on www.svpassatii.blogspot.com.One thing to note is she will have excessive weather helm if the mast is raked back and/or if there is too much wt in the bow.If you need more info contact us via our BCA profile.Barrie and SandraSV Passat II

Boat shipping 1 C. Smith We used Sevenstar to ship our boat from Golfito to Victoria with good success. They have a very good reputation and came in with a competitive price. They kept us informed of their ETA and were within 10 days of their original plan. Friends used a competitor and were left waiting for 2 months for loading.
