About the Instructor:  Steve White began his racing career on Mirror dinghies as a child on the Prairies.  He moved to Vancouver for high school and continued racing, which soon led to his getting a job as Operations Manager for Blue Water Yachts.  He commissioned many racing and cruising boats for them before starting his own business, Total Yacht Rigging.  He continued racing at the same time and gained experience internationally

He is well respected throughout the industry and was invited to manage Pacific Spar in the mid 80's.  When they were bought out by Pro-Tech Yacht Services his experience and skills expanded to include fabrication in stainless and aluminum, which also meant broadening his horizons to encompass powerboats.
