Prerequisites and Equipment:

Bring your foul weather gear, sea boots, and bathing suit. We highly recommend deploying your auto-inflate PFD to get the full experience of that, however, it does mean you will have to buy a replacement CO2 canister. If you would rather not do that, you can bring a PFD that can be manually inflated, or a PFD with inherent flotation. Again, it’s best to bring the gear you will actually use on your boat while offshore.

Format:The first half of the course will take place in the classroom located at the pool, with the last half in the pool. You will wear your foulies over your bathing suit in the pool.
