BCA Calgary Chapter welcomes Andy den Otter

Explore Sailing OPBs - Other Peoples' Boats

Andy den Otter is a lifelong sailor and sailing instructor who enjoys sailing everything from sailboards to offshore cruisers.   He spends 12 weeks each year doing coastal and blue water cruising without owning a boat.  In January he crossed from the Canary Islands to Tobago on somebody else's boat.

Andy's presentation covers the benefits and concerns of sailing without actually owning a cruising yacht.   He will relay his experiences on friends' boats, strangers' boats, charter boats, and teaching sailing, on the Caribbean, Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean. Come on out and hear these fantastic stories and learn how you can sail on Other People's Boats too or maybe you need to find people to help you sail on your boat!

Come out to meet Calgary BCA member, Andy den Otter and learn his story!

Social starts at 7:00 pm.

Members $5 - Please wear your BCA name tag

Guests welcome, $10
