Worried about what and how to cook when offshore? Wondering how you can maintain a level of fitness and practice healthy living on the boat? Register for this brand-new BCA course and be inspired by an educational and hands-on workshop that's focused on nutrition and fitness.

Course Information:
Be inspired by this educational and hands-on nutrition and fitness workshop that will provide you with tips, tools and techniques for healthy eating and healthy living practices while cruising on your boat.

Participants will learn to take care of themselves by eating healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.  This course will cover daily dietary requirements and simple methods of cooking onboard with efficient galley equipment. Not only that, you will prepare delicious meals and snacks - and enjoy the food you have prepared.  This will be your lunch!

Learn and practice exercises and gentle Yoga sequences that will keep you strong and flexible - both onboard and ashore. 

Barbara Erickson is an active BCA member who spent six years cruising in the South Pacific (2011-2107); she has been an Iyengar Yoga student for 35 years and is a former Yoga teacher.
Camie Bentham is a Foods and Physical Education teacher in SD 61, and Jennifer Letham Sobkin is a registered dietician.

Participants will prepare lunch as part of the course.

BCA Members: $75
Non-members: $100

There is a $15 processing fee in the event of participant cancellation.
