John Neal & Amanda Swan Neal are highly regarded global offshore voyagers and instructors. Their seminars and training expeditions have trained and encouraged many hundreds of sailors to head over the horizon, including countless BCA members. They are also authors of numerous books and countless articles in key blue water sailing magazines. John offers expert consulting advice on offshore boat selection.

Nigel Calder Nigel is best known for his Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual. He and his wife, Terrie annually cruise Europe aboard their Malo 46, Nada and have spent the last 35 years cruising and writing about the East Coast of North America, Bahamas, Cuba, the Caribbean, Atlantic, U.K, Scandinavia, and as far north as the Faroe Islands.
