mast pulpits 1 J. Burgoyne Hello...I have a great recommendation for you but he's not in Victoria. Rather in Comox. His name is Nuno Covas, he used to work for BlackLine Marine in Sidney and he's set up his own shop up island a few years ago.The name of the shop: Ocean Metal - ph: (250) 218-4028 or (250) 871-4028. He did extensive work on a few friends' boats and he redid my stern rail and antenna mast last spring. Brilliant tradesman. Great service. And unlike a lot of guys in the marine trades, when he says he will show up at your boat at a given time and date, he actually does !The Comox Port Authority knows him well as he does a lot of work on the fishing fleet in Comox and their facility is great and allows for welding work right on their docks. No need to haul out. Moorage rates are good, I paid $300 for a 3 week stay. Good luck.

compression post step collapsing 4 N. Angerilli Many thanks for the advice and apologies for not having responded earlier. I wrote the original message in La Paz and then sadly had to return to work in Canada.  One of the people that I have consulted on this problem is Rob Cross and his partner Will Immanse.  They are keen to use ss but I'll discuss the metal options presented here as well.  The second group of consultants are keen to go fibreglass and rebuild the entire step.  Hard choice. thanks again.

Interior woodwork repairs 1 D. Brown I used Les Mongrain (604) 831-2805 to do a lot of teal work inside and outside our Fast Passage 39 several years ago and I can highly recommend him if you want quality work done.  Don't know whether he is still doing boat work but give him a try.
