Looking to crew
Hello all. I am new to the BCA and my partner and I are looking to build sea miles as crew. We are a hard working male and female couple in our early 40s eager to gain sailing experience. Our experience includes a combination of CYA basic & intermediate cruising courses, CYA Coastal Navigation, Advanced first aid/CPR, ROC(M). We are available for up to 2 weeks and our dates available are flexible. If you need help moving a boat or looking for additional crew for an extended cruise, we would like to hear from you. Please contact for more info. Located in northern Alberta.

Hi, I am a member of the BCA online and from Calgary. For the past 3 seasons I have been cruising the Caribbean between Beaufort NC and Grenada. My yacht is a Leopard 40 Catamaran and we are developing opportunities for couples and individuals to experience the cruising lifestyle. The basic concept is you are on board as crew and to enjoy the experience as if you were an owner, gain confidence, sea miles and get to know the ins and outs of actual cruising. Things like trip planning, provisioning, basic maintenance, customs clearance, the cruising nets and exposure to the cruising community. All at a pace the way cruisers do it - relaxed and enjoying the experience. This season we have opportunities for 1 couple to sail from Beaufort to St. Martin (Dec 1-21) Cruising from St. Martin to Martinique (December 22-28th), A possible cruise from the BVI to the Bahamas in Late March and early April, and some opportunities to experience cruising the Bahamas and the incredible Exuma Islands. We are not free - the costs are based on a shared costs basis which is more than just food and fuel, but far less than chartering. For more information go to www.cloudstocoral.com or send me a reply. For an example you can sail from Beaufort to St. Martin ( a 2 week offshore voyage plus time in St. Martin and Beaufort) as a couple for just $2000 cdn for 3 weeks or $1500 for an individual and that includes the food. I would be interested in hearing from you if any of the above is of interest.
Cheers
