Mexico immigration and TIP

I am attempting to get a "DCR" visa prior to landing in Mexico.  This is the documentation that gets exchanged for a visitor visa upon arrival.  It is mentioned in the Latitude 38 "First Time in Mexico" guide.  I am on the Banjercito website (here)https://www.banjercito.com.mx/registroEmbarques/#  and the format is limited to US citizens such as having to have a 3 letter suffix to your email address (.ca is rejected).  Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks,

Brian

Boats are always safest in a harbour; but that is not what they are built for.

Gmail.com and yahoo.com email accounts are easy to obtain and have three letters. Many people get them as throw-away addresses, and they can be configured -- as I recall -- to have a different reply-to address -- like your usual one.

Interestingly, many Mexican email addresses end in two letters - .mx, so one would think they would have thought of that.

Cassiopeia -- Bavaria 42 -- Port Sidney Marina
Just Do It! - Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 -- Powell River
Both in the Cooper Boating fleet and available for charter

Baja magic --Beneteau 35 -- Marina Palmira, La Paz, BCS, Mexico
Carpe Diem Hunter 23.5 - Sudbury, Ontario
