This workshop will cover:·             

• Introduction to Winlink 2000
• The equipment you require        
• Installing and Setting up Airmail       
• Using Airmail to send and receive e-mail and position reports         
• Receiving weather fax and grib files 

REQUIREMENTS·  

• You need a valid Amateur Radio call sign        
• Bring a WiFi-capable laptop to the session (equipped with appropriate software - details in your Homework)       
• Read the information indicated in your Homework Assignment prior to the course date. (Researching these websites is equivalent to reading a chapter of a book. Topics include: Winlink, Airmail 2000; WeatherFax and Grib Files)  

HOMEWORK: Your confirmation email will include links to the necessary websites to complete your homework assignment.

There will be a 30 minute lunch break.  BYOL if you wish.
